But be careful - if you do not remove the negative battery post connection first ( the left side) and you try and disconnect the positive side ( the right side) and you touch ANYTHING with the screw driver you are going to get a pop and a shower of sparks.
Take the negative or grounded side off first - then work on removing the positive.
Don't ask me how I know - but take it that the voice of experience always disconnects in that precise order.
